School Age Children – Ages 6 – 16yrs
Children who begin tuition with us do not necessarily need to have had a formal assessment to identify a specific learning difficulty, and/or have a diagnosis of dyslexia. If you feel your child has a learning difficulty we are happy to help and offer advice.
Adults
We offer a tuition support service for adults who wish to develop their literacy and learning skills, in order to progress in the workplace. All lessons are delivered by sympathetic and qualified staff, experienced in working in a 1:1 setting with adult learners.
For ALL Students we also offer a range of Specialist Study Skills Support.
Our weekly 1 hour Specialist Dyslexia lessons take place on a set time and day throughout the week. Students attend online lessons after school hours or during the school day.
We have very similar terms dates to your local authority schools and our Terms Dates are available for download from this website.
Our Aim
Our aim is to work in partnership with schools and parents to provide a Complementary Education Service to Support the Development of Literacy, Numeracy and Study Skills for Students who have Specialist Educational Needs. We work hard to develop close relationships with your child’s school.
Our tuition is delivered by suitably experienced and qualified tutors; lead by Jane Dupree, a qualified Dyslexia Specialist Teacher and an accomplished Special Educational Needs practitioner.
Online Tuition
All of our lessons are delivered online, a Specialist Dyslexia Tuition which is delivered within the student’s own home or University lodging using web based interactive video tools, ie SKYPE. or ZOOM. Time zones permitting we extend this service to English Students with Dyslexia, who are currently resident Overseas.
